Therapy for those who carry responsibility — and are starting to feel the cost. I am here for individuals, couples, and families navigating identity, belonging, or overwhelming life transitions. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, burnout, cultural or family pressure, relationship conflict, grief, or workplace stress, I offer trauma-informed, culturally responsive support to help you feel grounded and empowered again.
I work primarily with professionals, leaders, and business owners; immigrant and first-generation individuals; and AAPI folks from culturally traditional backgrounds. Many were raised with messages like “be strong,” “don't complain,” “handle it yourself” — and now carry the weight of those expectations in ways that have become hard to sustain.
Many clients say: “I don't know how to talk about what I feel.” “I'm fine at work, but everything else feels tense.” “I've never done therapy before.” You don't need the right words to start. You just need a space that respects how you operate. Common reasons folks come to therapy include anger or frustration that feels harder to control, emotional distance from your partner or family, constant pressure to perform or provide, or feeling like you carry everything alone.
These are not personal failures — they're common responses to long-term responsibility and unprocessed stress. Together, we'll work to help you understand what's happening beneath the surface and build tools to move through life with more ease, connection, and a sense of being truly supported.

More About Me

Therapy is my second career. Before entering clinical practice, I spent years in strategy and management consulting, teaching Asian American Studies, and advocating for healthcare and policy equity for BIPOC communities and individuals with disabilities. That winding path—shaped by the real experiences of parenting my son and caring for my parents through the end of their lives—grounds my perspective. I know firsthand how complex life's transitions can be, and I show up as a steady, real human who honors the courage it takes to heal and grow.

EMDR psychoeducation, somatic tools, and journal prompts — plus a bit about our team.
We believe healing lasts when it's held by community, connection, and the right tools — not chased as a quick fix. Each month, we share worksheets, books, podcasts, and research to support the work you're already doing. This isn't a newsletter — just resources when they're useful. Your information is never shared.
