Anti-Oppressive Rate Structure
Healing should be accessible.
Everyone deserves access to high-quality, trauma-informed therapy — regardless of financial circumstances. As a BIPOC-led practice, this isn't a marketing position for us. It's personal. Our sliding scale reflects a commitment to equity, inclusion, and reparative justice, allowing you to access care at a rate that feels sustainable for your situation while honoring the value of the work.
How it works
Find your service and read through the rate tiers and reflective questions below.
Answer the questions honestly — there are no right or wrong answers. Be graceful with yourself and your resources.
Bring your answers and your range to your consultation call so we can discuss what feels right together.
We'll secure that rate for the remainder of the year, with flexibility to adjust as your circumstances change.
This is about collaborating to ensure you receive the care you deserve — and it allows us to be our best selves for your healing journey.
The Rate Tiers
Choose the tier that aligns with your resources.
Take a moment to explore the tiers and reflective questions. Select the option that aligns with your needs and resources — there is no judgment here, only collaboration.
Redistribution
Pay above the standard rate
You have access to surplus financial resources, savings, or generational wealth that allows you to pay more than the standard rate comfortably. Paying at this level helps ensure our services remain accessible to those who face greater financial barriers.
Full Cost
The standard rate
You can afford the standard rate without it causing financial strain or impacting your ability to meet your basic needs. This is the rate that sustains the practice and reflects the full value of the care.
Sustain
A reduced rate, adjusted to your budget
Paying the standard rate would require you to stretch, but a reduced rate is manageable with some financial planning while still meeting your other obligations. You're prioritizing your healing without compromising essentials.
Solidarity
A significantly reduced rate
The standard rate is out of reach right now, but a significantly reduced rate makes investing in your mental health achievable with careful budgeting. You're committed to the work, and this tier meets you where you are.
Reparations
For BIPOC impacted by systemic oppression
If you identify as Black, Indigenous, or a person of color and systemic barriers have impacted your financial capacity to access care, this tier exists to help address those inequities and make healing possible for you.
Reflective Questions
A few questions to guide you.
When selecting the tier that feels right, take a moment to reflect. These questions are designed to help you assess your current financial reality while ensuring accessing care feels sustainable and supportive.
Financial Reality
What is your current income, and are recurring obligations like rent, childcare, healthcare, or debt significantly impacting your budget? Do you have access to savings, generational wealth, or financial support that provides additional stability?
Systemic & Structural Barriers
Have you experienced financial or systemic inequities due to racism, sexism, ableism, or other forms of oppression that have limited your earning potential or access to wealth-building opportunities?
Shared Responsibility & Reciprocity
If you have financial privilege, are you willing and able to pay a higher rate to help ensure services remain accessible to others? Do you feel comfortable selecting a lower tier, knowing the system is designed to honor everyone's needs without judgment?
Long-Term Sustainability
Would choosing a particular tier allow you to access services consistently without undue stress? Does this rate ensure you can continue prioritizing your mental health while balancing other life expenses?
Let's find the rate that works for you.
Bring your reflections to a consultation call and we'll shape a plan that honors both your healing and your resources.
