About Us
A collective for trauma therapy that goes beyond the symptoms.
SOULFLO Therapy is a San Diego-based collective of trauma-attuned therapists dedicated to helping clients process what's stuck and come back to themselves. Our practice integrates EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Brainspotting, and somatic integration to address anxiety, depression, complex trauma, attachment wounds, burnout, and relationship patterns — not just at the level of insight, but where change actually lives, in the body and nervous system.
We offer individual, couples, family, and group therapy, alongside half-day, full-day, and multi-day therapy intensives for clients who need sustained, immersive processing. Sessions are available in person in San Diego and virtually across California, Oregon, and Florida.
SOULFLO Therapy is built for high achievers who can't turn off, empaths who carry everyone's pain, trauma survivors whose healing never finished, helpers who forgot to help themselves, and couples stuck in the same loop. We hold a particular commitment to BIPOC, multicultural, and first-generation clients, and to care that is decolonizing, trauma-informed, and rooted in equity — including a tiered sliding scale.
The practice was founded and is clinically supervised by Nancy Phung-Smith, LMFT, an EMDRIA Approved Consultant and EMDR-certified therapist, who leads a team of registered associates trained in EMDR, IFS, and trauma-focused care.
